The Final Countdown – The End of the Casino?

Casinos have been around for centuries, with the first one opening in Venice, Italy in 1638. Since then, they've become a popular and iconic part of many cultures around the world. But could this be about to change?

There is a new trend emerging in the casino world – the move towards online casinos. This has been fuelled by the growth of mobile gaming and the increasing use of smartphones and tablets. In fact, a recent study by Juniper Research found that the value of online casino gaming will exceed $50 billion by 2020.

This is great news for players, as it means they can enjoy all the excitement and fun of a casino from the comfort of their own home. There are now hundreds of quality online casinos to choose from, offering a wide range of games and bonuses.

Players no longer need to travel to a brick-and-mortar casino, which can be expensive and time-consuming. They can now simply log on to their favourite online casino and start playing!

The growth of online casinos has also led to increased competition amongst operators. This has resulted in better bonuses and rewards for players, as well as better games and graphics.

So what are you waiting for? Start enjoying all the thrills and excitement of online casinos today!

Who Will Win The Final Countdown?

The Champions League final is fast approaching, with Liverpool and Real Madrid set to do battle for European club football's biggest prize. The two sides could not have had more contrasting paths to the final – Liverpool blitzing their way through a relatively easy group stage before disposing of Roma in thrilling fashion, while Real Madrid required extra time and penalties to get past Bayern Munich in their semifinal.

But who will come out on top? Liverpool are the clear underdogs, but they have shown they are capable of anything with their performances against Roma. Real Madrid, on the other hand, are the reigning champions and have looked understandably jaded at times this season, but still have enough quality to win the Champions League.

Here are my picks for both teams:

Liverpool:

Manager: Jurgen Klopp 4-3-3 formation: Allison; Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Lovren, Robertson; Henderson, Milner, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Mane.

Goalkeepers: Alisson Becker has been in fantastic form for Roma this season and will be a key player for Liverpool in the final. Loris Karius has not had the best of seasons since taking over from Simon Mignolet as first choice goalkeeper last year, but he may get another chance to prove himself as Klopp has said he will start ahead of Becker in Kiev. Defenders: Virgil van Dijk has been a rock at the back for Liverpool since joining from Southampton in January and will be vital if they are to keep Cristiano Ronaldo at bay. Dejan Lovren and Andy Robertson have formed a good partnership on Liverpool's left flank this season and will be looking to continue that against Real Madrid. Midfielders: Captain Jordan Henderson has been one of Liverpool's most consistent performers this season, often being used as a deep-lying midfielder to help protect his defence. James Milner has also been impressive when called upon this season and is likely to start in Kiev alongside Henderson. Georginio Wijnaldum was crucial in Liverpool's victory over Roma and is likely to play a key role against Real Madrid also. Forwards: Mohamed Salah has been simply incredible for Liverpool this season, scoring 44 goals in all competitions. Roberto Firmino is another player who likes to work hard for his team and will no doubt cause problems for Real Madrid's defenders. Sadio Mane is always a threat with his pace and power going forward.

Real Madrid: Manager: Zinedine Zidane 4-3-3 formation: Navas; Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo; Casemiro, Kroos, Modric; Ronaldo Bale Benzema . Goalkeepers: Keylor Navas has been first choice goalkeeper at Real Madrid for the past few seasons now and although he has not had his best season individually he is still a very good keeper. Thibaut Courtois should take over between the sticks next season after joining from Chelsea but he may not start ahead of Navas in Kiev . Defenders: Dani Carvajalhas been first choice right back at Real Madrid since 2013 and is very much a fans' favourite due to his attacking prowess down the right wing. Sergio Ramoshas sometimes divided opinion due to his aggressive nature but there can be no denying that he is one of the world's best defenders when on top form. Raphael Varanehas developed into one of Europe's most sought after defenders since joining Madrid from Lyon in 2011 and is likely to start alongside Ramos in Kiev . Marceloreal (left) needs no introduction given his long association with Madrid and legendary status at the club – he will occupy the left back slot against Liverpool . Midfielders: Casemirois currently one of the best defensive midfielders in world football and provides protection for Los Blancos' defence as well as being able to break up plays tactfully. Toni Kroosis another player who enjoys having the ball at his feet and often dictates play from midfield whilst Luka Modricperhaps lacks some of Kroos' physicality but more than makes up for it with his superb technique on the ball . Forwards: Cristiano Ronaldois undoubtedly one of (if not)the greatest players ever to grace a football pitch and shows no signs of slowing down despite turning 33 earlier this month . Gareth Balehas had an injury plagued season but showed what he is capable of with 2 goals including 1 bicycle kick against Bayer Leverkusen in the quarterfinal second leg tie . Karim Benzemamay not be everyone's cup of tea but there can be no doubting that when firing on all cylinders he is one of Europe's most lethal strikers . So there you have it – my picks for both teams ahead of Saturday night's Champions
